Venue Guide

With its' relatively small size, The Picturedrome is the ideal place to enjoy live musical entertainment due to the close proximity to the artists. With a venue capacity of around 650, you can see why music-lovers flock here.

The Picturedrome is full of history, and it shows. It has a built in stage, a sizeable dance floor and a state-of-the-art sound system. The stage is well lit with spot lights creating a perfect atmosphere.

The Picturedrome is equipped with two bars within the main venue (one on each floor), plus The Box Office Bar at the back of the building - The perfect place to meet friends before or after your gig!

  • Children are welcome at the Picturedrome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • For most concerts, doors open at 19:30 unless otherwise stated.
  • Entry for gigs is at the back of the building next to the Box Office Bar.
  • All tickets are 'General Admission/Standing', which is because we have no fixed seating at the venue. However, there are approximately 100 (unfixed) seats around the venue, so if you require a seat during a performance please arrive as early as possible.

We have good disabled access and facilities - If you require accessible tickets, or for any further information, please feel free to contact us on info@picturedrome.net. We will do our very best to answer any queries you may have as quickly as possible.

"We hit Holmfirth for the Fan Convention, as my band call it. What a place that is. Funky old cinema with an air of juvenile disdain which seems to raise audiences to levels of relaxed fun they seldom enjoy these days.

I like playing there as much as they like paying to see us there. I always tell Peter the owner, anytime mate.

Packed and rocking from the start. Relentless in its waves of unity. Waves that rush the stage. An audience like that will always raise the game of the performers. "

From Steve Harley (& Cockney Rebel)
