To pick up this order the card holder must present the card used and (if asked) provide a signature at the box office on event. You MUST also bring along your ticket purchase confirmation email. Unless otherwise stated. Tickets can only be collected on the night of the gig, not in advance.

Terms and Conditions

In the event of the cancellation of an event by the organiser/promoter (i.e. a cancellation due to circumstances beyond The Picturedrome's control), The Picturedrome will only refund the face value of the ticket. We will use best endeavours to contact purchasers either by phone, email or in writing (using the details provided at the time of ordering) and advise them to return the tickets.

Please note, however, it is the customer's responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and The Picturedrome cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes to the event date, time or venue. However, 99% cancellations will be announced on our home page, so please check before travelling.

If you purchase tickets within a few days of the concert, it may be too late for postage. Please tick 'box office collection' and bring your ticket purchase confirmation email to collect your tickets on the door. Please bring some identification with you.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed.

For all ticket collections you MUST bring along your ticket purchase confirmation email or you will not be allowed entry. Please be sure to check your Junk/Spam Folder(s). If you do not receive an email from us within 24 hours of you purchase, please email us and we will try to resolve the matter.

Golden Brown, Strange Little Girl, Always The Sun, Peaches, No More Heroes, Nice & Sleazy...Sound familiar ? All big hits, all great songs, all written and sung by Hugh Cornwell, the songwriter behind The Stranglers.

As leader of The Stranglers, Hugh was the main songwriter of all the band’s most memorable songs across ten stellar albums. Their 1977 debut Rattus Norvegicus – featuring seminal songs Peaches, (Get A) Grip, (On Yourself), and more – follow up albums No More Heroes, Black and White, The Raven and The Gospel According To The MenInBlack - which Hugh cites as his favourite Stranglers album – consolidated Cornwell’s stature as a unique songwriter and musician. His lyrics to Golden Brown, from the La Folie album, and their multiple meanings, is a songwriting masterclass with the song reaching number 2 in the UK singles charts. After releasing his final album 10 with the band Hugh embarked on a solo career.

Fast forward to 2022 and Hugh's lastest album Moments of Madness is an album of acute, pithy, and witty observations which has received

widespread critical acclaim.

The Primitives

The Primitives emerged from the UK independent music scene of the mid-1980s, with a sound that distilled the shimmering guitar chime of The Byrds, the buzzsaw style of The Ramones and 60's girl group melodies into two-and-a-half-minute pop gems.

After topping the indie singles chart several times, their widely acclaimed first album, Lovely, made them one of the UK’s most revered alternative rock acts, while the international success of the single 'Crash' saw them cross over to a mass audience. Further chart success followed, along with two more studio albums, Pure and Galore, plus extensive tours of Europe and the US, before the band called it a day in 1992.
