Odd that next day we hit Holmfirth for the Fan Convention, as my band call it. What a place that is. Funky old cinema with an air of juvenile disdain which seems to raise audiences to levels of relaxed fun they seldom enjoy these days.

I like playing there as much as they like paying to see us there. I always tell Peter the owner, anytime mate. Packed and rocking from the start. Relentless in its waves of unity. Waves that rush the stage.

An audience like that will always raise the game of the performers.

The Picturedrome is the ideal place to enjoy live musical entertainment. It has a built in stage, a sizable dance floor and a state-of-the-art sound system. The stage is well lit with spot lights which creates a perfect atmosphere.

• The cinema is equipped with 2 bars - one on each floor.
• Children are welcome at the Picturedrome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
• For most concerts doors open at 7.30pm unless stated.
• The total capacity of the Picturedrome is about 550, which makes this place a great place to watch bands and films.
• Your tickets mention that it is 'standing only' which is because we have no fixed seating at the venue. However, there ARE approx. over 100 (unfixed) seats around the venue, so if you require a seat during a perormance please arrive as early as possible.

New toilet block ~ Finally completed
We are pleased to announce completion of a brand new toilet block
at the back of the premises!

New balcony

We are pleased to announce that we have finally completed construction of a state-of-the-art viewing balcony. The new balcony is positioned to the left of the stage (as you look at it) and offers an unbelievable view of the performers.
