The Jamm
The Jam may have 'Beat Surrendered' in 1982, but you can still relive the
excitement, feel the energy and power of a real live show with The Jamm,
without doubt the most authentic and true tribute in the World. The Jamm
have continuously been delighting fans of Paul Weller's original group in
sell out performances. The tribute show, backed by the experience of over
2000 live performances, will take you back in time when 'Fire' & 'Skill'
ruled the charts and a youth culture identified with the lyrics and energy
of a band that was a reflection of their own lives.
Personal message:
"After 14 years of performing, The Jamm will leave the stage for the last
time on 28th December 2008. Having played more than 2,500 gigs in over 8 countries,
and loving every minute of playing the music, we have decided to devote more time
to our families and personal lives.
The farewell tour will take in most of England and Scotland between now and December,
and we hope that we will see you all one last time.
We would like to thank everybody that has supported us. We will be leaving
with fantastic memories and hope that you all will too." |

The Why & Wherefores
Album Launch
Cool contemporary blues and roots from dynamic 5 piece band "The Why & Wherefores"
Emily Druce, Steve Jones, Marc Layton-Bennett , Martin Wydell and John Barker swing all the way from roots to rockabilly with the launch of their new album "Alright".
"Take the singer crowned the "queen of British blues", add "Cooderish grooves" from dynamic guitarist, hand the bass lines over to a sousaphone, let loose a truly funky drummer (and occasional didge player) and let a few lap steel lines soar over it all and you have The Why & Wherefores."

Wishbone Ash + The Hamsters
More than 28 years after they were named the 'Brightest Hope' and the 'Best
New Group' in the influential British music publications Melody Maker and
Sounds, Wishbone Ash's following and influence continue unabated. In 2002,
founder members Andy Powell and Ted Turner were voted among the top 20
guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine, and the group's albums
continue to be strong sellers around the world. The current line-up is: Andy
Powell, Bob Skeat, Muddy Manninen and Joe Crabtree.
The rockin' rodents are probably the hardest working band in the world. They
have been voted the UK's best blues rock band and are the leading
interpreters of the music of Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top. These guys are not
just awesome - they are phenomenal! |
